EBE Technologies Announces CMC Standard

The standard version of the CMC application provides intuitive driver experience at a cost-effective price point

East Moline, IL: EBE Technologies, the leader in transportation-specific workflow and business process management applications, today announced it is offering a standard version of its Connect Mobile Capture (CMC) application. As an alternative to in-cab scanning applications, CMC is a mobile-based solution that allows drivers to capture and submit documents via their smartphone or tablet and offers a multitude of integration options. The Standard version of the application allows fleets to provide a quick turnaround time for required customer documents at a cost-effective price point, while remaining competitive in a time-sensitive market.

CMC Standard offers a variety of benefits for carriers while being price sensitive in today’s competitive market. Drivers using the Standard application receive order numbers and document types with minimal effort and have the option of choosing from various batch types such as trip documents, accident photos, compliance documents, and vehicle inspection documents. CMC Standard features EBE’s Capture Wizard technology to ensure the highest quality document images while optimizing those images for reduced file size to minimize data plan impact. And, to ensure driver acceptance and proficient use of the application, CMC features online video-based training.  Carriers also have the option of branding the application to their specific company.

As carriers’ business needs evolve, CMC Standard can be easily upgraded to CMC Enterprise. This enhanced version provides more robust functionality to further improve driver productivity, as well as optimizes the information returned to the shipper.

“Carriers today need a variety of options with different price points to suit their organization’s business needs. By offering multiple versions of our mobile capture application, EBE gives carriers the freedom of a mobile application without the significant initial investment. The true value of the CMC application is in its integration with carriers’ in-house operations, and its ability to upgrade the application benefits to adapt to changing business needs," stated Larry Kerr, President of EBE.
